So, I've been ranting about Fesko a few times before. It's actually short for Festival Kolej and it's super duper important if you want a place for a college next sem. It wasn't all that hoo-haa for most of us Chemical student because we had our workshop and our family day on the same weekend -_-' Crap. Tp tkpergi pun family day tu haha. So memang betul lah tu alasan semata mata haha

What I really loved about Fesko was it had Uncle Bob! Omg, sumpah aku cm obsessed dgn mknn tu ke hapa wei haha. Sedap! Haha and also, during the second night, I was chilling with Aini when Hakim suddenly called

Hakim/Me

"Akak awesome! Ada mana?" (HAHA, he really called me that, as long as it's awesome I have no problem yehuu)

"Ada kt Fesko aa tepi ni"

"Makan ice cream jom"

"Serious aa?"

"Jom ah, Faeez ada skali ni. Makan bnyk bnyk jom"

The reason why they invited me is because they've witness my love for food and they thought I would contribute in the 'Makan Ice Cream paling banyak' competition. WTH?! hahaha

You are given an ice cream. Yg biasa beli kt supermarket pastu main share share kt rumah dgn family tu, yes that one, 2 actually and you have to finish it in 5 mins. They will give you 10 slice of bread, finish them up too while eating your ice cream.

Tadaaa. Ice cream!

My team was Hakim, Faeez and Syed. And Aini was by our side, cheering haha. We were faced with 3 problems : 1) It was night time, suddenly it felt really cold 2) The ice cream is hard as rock and cold as an iceberg 3) EVEN IF I EAT A LOT, I WON'T EAT A MUCH AS THESE BOYS EAT

When the timer starts, everyone was completely digging into the ice cream. Tapi omg, sumpah tk tipu, Ice cream tu sejuk gila it felt like my fingers got frost bite!! Tu baru pegang and I have sensitive teeth wei! Syed sumpah mcm kopek durian time nk belah ice cream tu and I kept shoving him my bread because I can't finish mine. Seriously, again, AKU MKN BNYK PUN, TP KALAU NK COMPARE DGN BUDAK LAKI MMG NOTHING MAN! SERIOUSLY!!

I was laughing all the way, Faeez even gelak time makan lepas tu tersembur -___-' naise Faeez and I kept shouting "Jariii akuuu sejukkkk" hahaha we didn't get to finish it on time, of course. But it was seriously funny. I did the best I could. Haha and we get to keep the other ice cream! Yes!

It was funny, at least dpt aa merit yayy! haha Later that night I met up with Hafizul and was all geared up and ready to tell him everything until Faeez was "Afiqah tak makan bnyk pun! Banyak jerit jari dia sejuk ada ah!" Geez, let it go old man. haha

Going Down

Well. This is quite the disappointment. Said I would try to blog more this year but entering April I only have 2 posts haha and the year before was actually 7. Man, I suck so bad. My university life is literally (figuratively) a roller coaster, I barely have time to breathe (yes, I won a trophy for exaggeration <- and again)

Eventho my subjects this sem is much much much easier than last sem's (all Chemistry subject, HELL YEAH) but dammit, why must this sem be so busy? I hate the fact that we have Fesko and Workshop in the same semester. Putting my life in a tornado motion. But other than that, this sem was 10x better than last sem.

More downside is my Organic Chemistry lecturer keeps on cancelling our class, leaving us all hanging. The first few months, it felt like we didn't even take on that subject. Nobody ever discussed whatever term there was in OC, or how to study and stuff. Then it lead to less tutorials for us to do, less discussion, less intake, less output. So then, by study week, I still had no idea how to answer OC for my finals.

But Alhamdulillah, my basic Chemistry is still good as new in my mind, put them all together with the logic there is in Chemistry and you get the pure Chemistry out of OC. By the last day before OC paper, I loved it. It was too late, if I loved OC earlier, I could ace that subject, but, no. I get OC the night before my paper but it was too late to memorize everything.

I remember how it goes, the mechanism, the structures and stuff, tp tertukar sikit sikit. Like Nitrogen Dioxide with Nitrate Ion -__-' stupid simple mistakes. So close. Tp apa kah daya? Tawakal je lah.

You know what, there is so much to rant on about and I would love to pour it all out in a different post. Like how my finals went, the time where Nadhrah finally came to Dungun (!!), how I didn't get college next sem, how my parents came and had a quick holiday when picking me up and all. But later, when I have time ;)

Workshop!

Workshop!

As you guys are well noted (I hope you are), I have workshop every Saturday morning. Which is a drag. I love my weekends. But what to do #studentlife

So for the past 6 workshops, I've been in the Welding Workshop. We had three projects which is Gas Welding, Arc Welding and MIG Welding. Gas welding was super duper hard. Because it was our first workshop that time, I thought it was basic but then, when we did Arc and MIG. perghhh, easy as pie. Easier than pie! I don't know why pie, but yeah, pie! So when you're done with Gas Welding, the rest of your days in the Welding workshop is a breeze.

Gas Welding is when we have to adjust ourselves with fiiiyaaahh! Both acetylene and oxygen combined you get a fire sword!! Tadaaa :

cool en? But terribly hard T_T Eventually I took Izwan's leftover cause he's a pro. K thanks :D

So this week, seeing its our 7th workshop session, my classmates and I moved on from welding to machines! We've heard from group C that it's a bit tiring and stuff so I braced myself for it. And to found out that its true. We finished workshop at 12pm today. I had my nap, woke up, had lunch and trying to relax now (5pm) but I'm still pumped out and I wanna sleep till tomorrow!

For my group its Lathe Machine this week and eventho it's not as dangerous as welding projects (during welding, you could get burnt, electrocuted, melt your finger, burn your jacket, 'play' with fire sparks, get your eyes over exposed and etc.) but its soo tiring.

You could do welding if you're comfortable doing it while sitting down, but not with machines. We had to stand up all the time. And dealing with machines, you have to be very detail, and you have to loosen and tighten the steel nut which is damn tight. Even Faiz can't loosen the nut -_- and mamat tu ckp "sbb tu org suruh pumping" and dia bukak cm tolak tangan sikit *pap* PERGHH!!

This is our project for Lathe Machine. We have to shape it. We did it from left to right so dari gemuk kena shape dia jadi kurus. It's still not done. Esok kena membunga dia and buat yg gemuk tu ada shaping nozzle sikit.

But machines is definitely less boring than welding and I can't wait for Milling Machine sbb buat in group and 1 group only one report yay!!

Sorry, but my classmates can't resist this! Haha Faeez apahal sial lompat tinggi sangat!!

P/s : I love people who still blog hihi. The numbers are decreasing ;(
